Laser-Tag, what exactly is it? Dropzone, the national event Expanded Laser-Tag LRP Events Calendar In 1986 a company called Worlds of Wonder released a toy called Lazer-Tag in a flurry  of hype and advertising.  Less than two years later it was being remaindered in toy  shops up and down the country.  Seeing the potential, groups of people who bought  those early sets started a hobby that has carried on to this day.  Even though the  hobby still uses concepts first originated more than 20 years ago the homebrew  equipment has steadily improved in leaps and bounds to provide a thrilling play  experiance.  The purpose of this site is to either welcome you back into the hobby or to help you to  learn more about it and the games that run that utilise it.  Along with our discussion  site, Firefight, we hope you will want to learn more and even participate in the games  that we run.  This site incorporates elements and information that were previously  available on www.dropzoneonline.org and www.uklta.org.
